1st Week
Monday, 20:00 - Magdalen College
Freshers' Meeting: Come along to our freshers’ meeting and see what we're all about! We’ll have free drinks (tea, coffee, squash) and, most importantly, free cake! The map opposite shows how to get to Magdalen, and friendly OUSGGers will be at the Porters Lodge from 7:45pm to help you find the room. We’ll have a brief presentation followed by cake, then a trip to the Magdalen Bar.

2nd Week
Monday, 19:30 - Carfax
Oxford Tours Wide Game: A wide game with a difference: played across Oxford, we’ll be going on a hunt for interesting locations past and present! Exciting edible prizes will be provided to the winning team. There will be a wet weather alternative if the weather is horrible.

Saturday, 11:00 - Oxford Railway Station
Day Walk: A day walk around Woodstock and Blenheim Palace. The weather is looking good at the moment - maybe even some sunshine - and it's a nice area, so do join us! Travel cost is £6.70 (or £4.25 with a railcard). Bring a packed lunch, and please wear suitable shoes (trainers or stout shoes fine if you don't mind them getting a little muddy!).
3rd Week
Monday, 19:30 - Magdalen, Old Law Library
Murder Mystery: A King Arthur themed “whodunnit”. Hopefully, by the end of the evening we'll have all worked it out!

4th Week

Ghost Tour (note this is on Sunday!): It’s the week of Halloween, so we have a spooky tour with Bill Spectre organised, round the sights of Oxford. Sign-up to make sure you have a space!
5th Week
Monday, 19:00 - Carfax
Bonfire Night: A chance to join in our very own Bonfire Night celebrations - including bonfire, fireworks and campfire songs. We’ll provide a jacket potato, you provide the filling! The location is the South Oxford Adventure Playground, and is a 15 minute walk from Carfax. You can also meet us at 5pm at SOAP and help setup the campfire!

Monday, 19:30 - Magdalen, Lecture Theatre A
Sharpen your Senses: How are your five senses? We’ll be testing each one in turn with a number of puzzles, illusions, blind taste tests (including wine and choco-late tasting) and more!

7th Week
Tuesday, 19:30 - TBC
Javanese Gamelan: A chance to show-off your musical side; we’ll be learning how to play Gamelan. Gamelan is a traditional Indonesian music ensemble - great fun to play as a group!

8th Week

Safari Supper: Come along to a safari supper - three delicious courses, three different locations! This will be preceded by our AGM at 6:30pm, which every-one is welcome to attend, if only for the amusing motions!
